43 officers of the medical corps of the U.S. Army visit the Museum.
November 5, 2008: during a study tour, 43 officers of the medical corps of the U.S. Army, based in Germany, visited the Utah Beach D-Day Museum. After their visit they were invited by Monsieur de Vallavielle to Brécourt Manor, where they learned the detailed story of the Battle of Brécourt, made famous by “Band of Brothers.”
At the end of their visit, Charles de Vallavieille awarded an honorary citizenship to the Town of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont to Colonel Gallagher.
