Description

This cricket also called clicker is an instrument which was used by the paratroopers of the 101st airborne division to identify each other, during the night of June 5th to 6th, 1944, in particular during the operation Albany.
This allowed them to recognize each other without the risk of being unmasked by the enemy.
When these paratroopers heard a “click-clack”, they answered with two “click-clack”.

In order to make it sound just press the flexible blade of the instrument.

The cricket is perfect as a souvenir of the Landing whether for yourself or to offer as a gift.
